Permobil Academy is bringing a new experience to New Zealand with Online to Offline Education Events. Online to Offline (O2O) events allow a number of participants to join an education event from multiple locations simultaneously, with each session starting with a 30 minute webinar offered by our Clinical Education Team, followed by a hands on session with your local experienced Sales Team.
Our inaugural O2O event is being held simultaneously across the APAC region, with participants also joining us from Australia, China, Japan, and Korea.
Manual Wheelchair: Acheiving More with the Optimal Fit
The average active manual wheelchair user propels between 2000 to 3000 pushes a day. Imagine doing anything 2000 to 3000 times a day that your body was not designed to do. What if it were reaching up over your head 2000 times a day? How would your shoulders feel after this? Whether you are a clinician, a family member, or the individual utilizing the wheelchair, understanding the importance of an optimal fit wheelchair on the individual’s function, independence, and quality of life is crucial.
Rachel Maher and Tracee-Lee Maginnity will begin our O2O with a webinar discussing the key measurements to consider in an active manual wheelchair and how those measurements affect the individual’s function, independence, and quality of life. For our offline training, Our local Territory Sales Manager will take you through EZ-Ti, and how to obtain the right measurements to achieve the optimal fit manual wheelchair for the end user.
We hope you will join us for our first Asia-Pacific regional online to offline event!
